Boy bands are our past, our present, and our future. From the Beatles to One Direction, boy bands have been a part of all of our lives.

There are those of us who dreamed of baby-faced Justin Timberlake, and danced in our rooms to every N’Sync song, wondering what in the world the “ice on my neck” was that he sang about so passionately in “Dirty Pop.”

Then there are those of us who thought boy bands were dumb, yet still caught ourselves bopping around in the backseat when Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way” came on the radio.

TLC aims to provide comfort to critically ill children and their families in the Baltimore area. Dr. Mary Adkins, Chalkboard’s faculty supervisor said, “For children who are critically ill and spend weeks and even months in the hospital, being away from their friends and families can be very difficult. A small gesture such as a Pillow Pet can provide comfort to a young child. My daughter’s best friend was recently diagnosed with leukemia and was the recipient of a Pillow Pet during her stay at Johns Hopkins. Her smile upon receiving her pink and purple unicorn Pillow Pet could have lit up the room.”

Then Skyfall came along. Wow, what a movie. Skyfall was one of the better movies I have seen  in a while and definitely blew Quantum out of the water. Skyfall starts out like a typical  Bond  movie, a short action scene leading into the main song. This scene was the worst for the sole reason that I am not a fan of Adele in the slightest. The opening number “Skyfall” as performed by Adele was a little long and annoying, but with that said the animations were pretty cool.

What makes a class worth four credits? Who gets to decide what it is worth and why does a three hour lab not count for three credits? With spring course registration approaching, some students have been wondering what constitutes a class to be listed as four credits as opposed to three.
